Exeter Community Accounting

Exeter Community Accounting offers a unique accountancy service to meet the needs of charities, community groups and social enterprises.  We aim to release staff and trustees from the day-to-day running of their accounts, freeing them to do what they do best whilst still remaining in control. We are specialists in setting up, running and assisting small to medium size organisations in their administration and accounting needs.

Community Groups

We help small community and tenants’ groups to set up straightforward and easy to use finance systems.

Charities, Charitable Incorporated Organisations and Community Interest Companies

We help charities and charitable incorporated organisations and CIC to meet the accounting requirements of the Charity Commission/ Companies House and other relevant regulators. We also support more established charities wanting to review and improve their financial systems as they grow in complexity and need to meet the requirements to account for and manage different funding streams.

  • Year End Accounts
  • PAYE/Payroll

What Our Clients Say

Exeter Community Accounting have acted as Sunrise Diversity’s accountancy and payroll service since 2014. They are incredibly approachable and their service and expertise has been invaluable to us as an organisation.

Sunrise Diversity

Exeter Community Accounting provides a perfect balance of ongoing advice and support alongside professionally produced Annual Accounts, all for a manageable fee. The accessibility of this service has been vital for a small charity such as D’Arts to continue to survive in current climates.

Judith Hedley-Dent, D’ARTS

Recovery Devon has been working with Exeter Community Accounting for many years and have always found the service provided to be professional, efficient, timely and accurate. The setting up of our Payroll in particular was seamless and the new pension provisions were handled with equal ease. Our Annual Accounts have always been presented well and when changes have been necessary this hasn’t been an issue. Von Mathieson, in particular, has proved herself not only as extremely competent but has also become a friend to our organisation and a pleasure to be with whenever we meet.
